What better way to spend a spring afternoon than sipping craft gin cocktails, sampling delicious delicacies and discovering your inner artist at the historic Stonehouse at Azabu Mission Bay?

This was such a fun event to host! Roku gin brought the enchantment of spring in Japan to our doorstep, with a celebration of the 1,000 year-old Japanese tradition of observing the first of the cloud-like pink sakura flowers in bloom. Its a celebration of new beginnings and a time of harvest.

I created a workshop where guests created a beautiful cherry blossom painting, which was accompanied by beautiful gin cocktails and food while they worked. It was fun to design a workshop around this concept so that guests could enjoy both aspects equally. 

I provided everyone with a small image for inspiration so they could refer to that as we were going along while I explained the process.

A really fun afternoon painting, sipping and eating!
